4 Pillars DIPA & Earth Day Festival 4/19/14

We are finally releasing our DIPA and what better day to do it than near the greenest day of the year, Earth Day.

4 Pillars DIPA is a delicious, hop-induced libation made specifically for your inner hop head. If you are not a hoppy beer fan, we are sorry. If you love massive, unsubtle hop flavor and aroma, you are welcome.

Here’s the details:

Date: Saturday, April 19th

Time: 1:00 – 7:00

4 Pillars Double IPA
7.5% ABV
75 IBU
Double Dry Hopped
English Malts
Hops: Columbus, Apollo, Pacific Jade, Galena
Our House American Yeast Strain
Our Well Water
Tasting notes: Delicious hints of pine and stone fruit, complete with a strong malt backbone and fantastic floral aroma.

Name Origin:
“Agriculture, manufactures, commerce and navigation, the four pillars of our prosperity, are the most thriving when left most free to individual enterprise.” – Thomas Jefferson

To celebrate the release of 4 Pillars and Earth Day, we are having another Farm Extravaganza laden with vendors and multiple activities for families. We are truly excited to open up the farm for everyone to visit.

We will offer live music as well as an outdoor farmers market – complete with artisan crafts, farm animals, live demonstrations and children’s activities. The farmers market will feature seasonal produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods and locally made fine artisan crafts

Live music provided by:

Andy Vaughn & the Driveline – Country and Honky Tonk Style (“Highly competent, widely varied, intriguingly nuanced stone cold country and Texas border music from the heart of Richmond, VA. – Outlaw Magazine)

Barrelhouse – With two guitars, an overdriven harmonica, a notoriously tight rhythm section, and three vocalists, Barrelhouse strives to create something unique, all while giving a respectful nod to the celebrated blues tradition that brought them together.

The times they come on will be released later.
