Believe it or not, it’s been one full year since we opened our doors. We are having a three day celebration filled with tons of activities to celebrate this milestone.

First off, we will be releasing Estate Series Gentleman Farmer Fresh Hop Ale. We had a robust harvest on the farm this year and Gentleman Farmer is tasting fantastic. We will have bottles for sale starting Friday Night.

As fate would have it this is the very first day we will be canning beer. Friday, September 26th, 2014 we will be canning our very first run of ‘Til Sunset Session IPA. It can not get fresher than this. We will have 6 packs of ‘Til Sunset Session IPA available for sale on the exact same day that it’s being packaged.

All through our Birthday Weekend we will be giving a free Lickinghole Creek Pint Glass with the purchase of two or more bottles of beer or two six packs of cans at the Farm’s Tasting Room.

In addition to the release of Gentleman Farmer, we will be pouring some of our harder-to-find beers as well.

On Friday, September 26 we are going to have live music from one of the best Blues Bands in Central VA, the Bluz Cats. The Bluz Cats will start playing around 6:30 p.m.

But wait, there’s more… 

After rocking out to amazing blues and drinking Farm Grown Brews, we’re going to have a showing of From Grain to Growler, a documentary about the growth of Virginia Craft Beer. The talented film makers from Take a Penny Productions will be on site as well as Lee Graves, The Richmond Beer Guy to answer any questions you may have. The movie should begin around 8:30

Gourmet Food Trucks to Be Announced Later

Dogs are welcome at Lickinghole Creek Craft Brewery. Please make sure their shots are up to date, you clean up after them and they are kept on a leash.
