GABF Recap, Stone, Cans, Virginia Black Bear Release and a Beer Dinner

Virginia’s Farm Brewery has a Busy Week Coming Up.

It’s been a whirlwind over the past couple of weeks.  First, we had a fantastic time in Denver participating in the Great American Beer Festival.  We were very humbled to learn that Estate Series Rosemary Saison had been rated the Best Beer at the 2014 GABF by nj.com.

Then, shortly after returning, our new friends at Stone Brewing announced they were opening their East Coast Brewery in our hometown of Richmond, VA.

Next, we canned Magic Beaver Belgian Style Pale Ale for the very first time.  I’m personally excited to have this beer in a can.  It’s such a unique beer and the format is going to bring it to a wider audience.  We even got a great slogan for it from one of our awesome Instagram followers @chuck_r.  Be on the lookout for this throughout Virginia.

Now, we’re currently labeling, numbering and carbonating the Virginia Black Bear in preparation for its release this Saturday, October 18th at the farm.
