Enjoy live music by Rick Hollowell from 4-7pm. At 7 pm, we close out the day with a Sunset Yoga class that is being hosted by Goochland Community Yoga.

Meadow Maze is open — $5 per person, kids under 3 free. Walk the 1-mile scenic hike through the fields, and look for the hidden treasure eggs tucked in the maze.

Good to Know Free entry to the farm — brewery, tasting room, play set, and open fields all included. Shade across the farm, indoor seating if you need it, and the tot and pup sprinklers are running. Leashed dogs and families always welcome. No reservation required.

The music comes alive as the sunflowers bows their heads. Southern Smoke Live from 2-5pm. As the sunflowers bow and meadow rises, the maze is still open to wander.

Walk the new 1-mile hike through the scenic fields, find your way through the Sunflower Meadow Maze, and keep an eye out for the hidden treasure eggs tucked along the way. The hummingbirds are working the field edges right now, and if the light is right you'll catch goldfinches lifting off the sunflowers in a wave.

One of the reasons Lickinghole Creek exists is to give people a place where the weight of the world seems to fall away. Step outside beneath a wide blue sky, wander through the meadows, and reconnect with nature. Rabbits hop through the grass, deer pause to watch from the tree line, quail burst into flight, and, if you're lucky, you'll witness an unforgettable sight as hundreds of brilliant goldfinches rise together from the sunflower fields like a wave of golden color against the sky.

11:30 a.m. – Birding & Wildlife Naturalist Hike with Lisa

Join Lisa for a guided walk through the farm to discover the birds, wildlife, native plants, geology, and conservation efforts that make Lickinghole Creek unique. Before founding the brewery, Lisa worked as a wildlife biologist, and she loves sharing the story of the land, its mineral-rich aquifer, and the wildlife that call it home.

Following the hike, enjoy a refreshing glass of our hard seltzer with pineapple and coconut, or our non-alcoholic mineral water infused with blood orange fruit purée, or your favortie brew. The brewery will be open 12-6pm.

As the afternoon begins to cool, the farm comes alive once again. Around 6:00 p.m. is another wonderful time to explore the trails, watch for wildlife, or simply relax in the shade with a cold beer while listening to the evening chorus of songbirds as the day winds down.

Our Bourbon Barrel Tripel is one of the beers people call us about all year. It returns July 18, 2026 — and like always, it won't last long.

We start with our Belgian-style golden tripel, then lay it down in bourbon barrels until it picks up deep notes of vanilla, oak, warm caramel, and a long smooth finish that only barrel aging can produce. The result is a beer that's rich without being heavy, warming without being hot.
